TriCounty Telecom held its annual meeting of members of Tri-County Telephone Membership Corporation on May 10 at Northside High School. Over 170 members and guests were in attendance.

The evening began with entertainment by Joyful Hearts, followed by the business session. Jack A. Mason and Rodney E. Woolard were re-elected to serve three-year terms as directors.

Door prizes were given out to more than people, with Rosemary Jones taking home the grand prize of $300.

TriCounty Telecom, located in Belhaven, provides local telephone service in the Pinetown, Pike Road and Sidney exchanges of Beaufort, Hyde and Washington counties. Cable TV, Internet access, web hosting and design and long-distance telephone service are telecommunications services offered by TriCounty Telecom.
