Edward Earl “Pinky” Pinkham Jr., 41, a resident of 2221 Raleigh Road, Rocky Mount, passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at South Village Nursing Facility.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Pamlico Memorial Gardens, officiated by Mike Huppmann. The family will receive friends following the service at the gravesite.

Mr. Pinkham was born Sept. 30, 1970, in Beaufort County, the son of Edward Earl Pinkham Sr. and Judy Jackson Pinkham. “Pinky,” as he was known by his friends and family, spent many years at Caswell Center in Kinston, where their kindness will never be forgotten. He loved music and was always laughing and happy. “Pinky” loved being around his family and people in general. It seemed to fill his life with happiness. He will be greatly missed by his family and all that knew him.

Along with his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Troy Lee Pinkham and Joseph Louis Pinkham, both of Washington, and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by a sister, Melissa Carol Pinkham.
