Jeffrey Lee Warren, 55, of 105 Wedgewood Drive, died Friday, May 25, 2012. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Hickory Grove Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Doug Tyson and the Rev. Joey Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery.

Jeffrey was born in Pitt County on May 25, 1957, son of the late Garland Edward “Shorty” and Queenie McGowan Warren. In 1979, he graduated from University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill and worked most of his life in industry and human resources. He was a member of the Hickory Grove Free Will Baptist Church.

Surviving are brothers Edward Warren Jr. and wife Cathy of Williamston, Doug Warren and wife Wanda of Greenville; nieces and nephews Doug Warren Jr. and wife Lauren and son Cannon, Abby Williams and husband Brice and children Riley and Tanner, Kinsey Warren, Trey Warren and wife Melissa and son Easton, Tucker Warren; and a special friend Cindy Selman.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at Biggs Funeral Home in Robersonville and other times at the home of Doug Warren, 2896 Madison Grove Road in Greenville.
