Come on, Washington. Get up to date. You gonna let everything be in Greenville? We need a bowling alley here, a recreation center. Come on, get with it.

I am glad they’re cutting the trees in front of the trailer homes on U.S. Highway 264. It will protect the people and the light line. Who knows? The person who complained might one day have to live in a trailer home. Even PotashCorp-Aurora is laying off. It isn’t what you live in, but how you live your life.

Washington seems to be concerned about putting its best foot forward. Has anyone checked the condition of U.S. Highway 264 between Brown Street and Hackney Avenue? It is dangerous. Just wondering who could be liable.
Editor’s note: Maintenance of U.S. and state highways in the city are the responsibility of the N.C. Department of Transportation.
