Sound Off highlights anonymous, brief takes on the news offered via telephone by Daily News readers.

What has happened to the sports page in the Sunday paper? Is there no sports? No NBA coverage? No NASCAR, no Indy racing? I mean, we’ve got to buy the Greenville paper to get the sports. Can we not take Greenville’s lead and do something? Hire some sports writers or something? And use the NBA in the little box where it says NFL at a glance. It should be NBA. Help us. Someone please help us.

After reading your story on PCS and its 150 people layoff, I would wish that they would quit sponsoring so many things that are unnecessary for people. I know people enjoy going to these things, but people would whole lot rather have a job and be able to keep their life as their living. This is so unfair.

I’ve heard it all now. A company can pay a firm $15 million dollars to come and go through their records and figure out how to save them money, but they can’t afford to pay their people. This beats all.

Brian, a very nice article in last Sunday’s paper about Haley Stowe. It was uplifting.

The article in last Sunday’s paper on changes in care coming was a bit hard to follow. Would have preferred a listing of the specific and then what they mean to patients, also at which offices and centers they apply.
