Washington High School graduated its Class of 2012 on Monday evening.

Valedictorian Namrataa Mehta, Salutatorian Hannah Sandy, Senior Class President Mari-Kate Newbold and Student Government President Allison Donadiok addressed their classmates and audience members. They also guided the graduating seniors through the turning of their tassels.

Avery Woolard opened the commencement ceremony by directing the posting of the colors and leading the Pledge of Allegiance. Terrance Keyes gave the invocation. Charon Spencer gave the benediction,

Beaufort County Schools Superintendent Don Phipps also addressed the graduates and others at the graduation exercise.
