Miss Eva Gladys Foreman, 78, died Sunday, June 17, 2012, at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. today at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Belhaven, officiated by the Rev. Medford Hopkins.

Miss Foreman was born in Beaufort County on Feb. 2, 1934, daughter of the late Alpheus Foreman and Mattie Sadler Foreman.  She had resided at the O’Berry Center in Goldsboro since 1968.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Alpheus Foreman, Noah Foreman, William Foreman, Charles Foreman and Clarence Foreman, and her sisters, Bertha Godwin, Julia Cleary Fulford, Ella Dore Foreman and Mattie Foreman.

The family will receive friends at the home of her niece, Mary Wallace, 1035 W. Bay St., Belhaven.
