Leon “Len” S. Brown III, 62, a resident of Greenville, passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2012, at Vidant Inpatient Hospice Center in Greenville.
A private graveside service will be conducted in Pinewood Memorial Park.
He worked with VT Hackney, retiring in 2011.
Mr. Brown is survived by his two sons, Glenn Brown and wife, Michelle, and Kevin Brown and wife, Kristin; three grandchildren; parents, Sam and Edith Brown of Stokes; and sister, Marsha Brown of Wilmington.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. today at Hooker Memorial Christian Church fellowship hall.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 930-B Wellness Drive, Greenville, NC 27834.
