Mrs. Elsie Barrow Chance, 88, a resident of Cross Creek Health Care Center, Swan Quarter, and formerly of 6458 Sladesville-Credle Road, Scranton, died Sunday, July 1, 2012. A funeral will be conducted at noon Thursday at St. John Missionary Baptist Church. Arrangements are by Whitfield & Whitley Funeral Home, Washington.
