A drug dealer whose alleged trafficking has spanned several states was arrested by the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office on June 28, according to a press release.

Quinton George Baldwin, 35, of 5922 W. Baker Road, Wilson, was charged with several counts of trafficking and possession of heroin.

“This guy’s been all over the east coast — Virginia, New Jersey, Wilson, Durham. He’s been all over the place,” said a spokesman for the drug unit. “He was coming into the county to sell heroin.”

This is the first time Baldwin has been arrested in Beaufort County but was just recently released from prison in another state, according to the spokesman. Baldwin was confined in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $250,000 secured bond.
