Two Jamesville men arrested for larceny in Plymouth have been charged with a March larceny on River Road.

Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office investigators responded to a report of a break-in on River Road in Washington in which the victim reported several items stolen, including a TV, said a sheriff’s office press release.

Cortez Donte Pope, 18, of Union Town Road, Jamesville, and Darrin De’von Davenport, 18, of Old U.S. Highway 64, Jamesville, were already being investigated by the Plymouth Police Department for crimes related to the River Road case, according to the release.

“The Plymouth Police Department developed information on some cases over there that they were able to solve,” said Major Kenneth Watson of the sheriff’s office. “During interviews with the subjects they were able to obtain information on our cases over here.”

Davenport and Cortez were each charged with one count of felony breaking and entering and one count felony larceny and were served the warrants in the Washington County Detention Center.
