Loss of employment leads to book

Stacy Little used a period of unemployment to do something she always wanted to do. She wrote a book.
Little said she wrote the book of poetry during her “me time.”
“I had time to kill,” she said. “Instead of watching TV, I sat down and wrote.”
The poetry in “Capture in One’s Self, Chronicles of a Phenomenal Woman” covers love, hardship and the power of faith.
Little used the project as motivation and inspiration for her and others.
“I wanted them to see how my faith in God would help me to endure,” she said. “We all need to be encouraged.”
It worked. Her sister, Cindy, was so amazed by Little’s efforts that she constantly called her a “phenomenal woman,” which inspired the book’s title.
She published the book under the penname “Anastasia Bridgers.” Little chose Anastasia for a bit of “pizzazz” and because Stacy is a nickname derived from Anastasia. Bridgers is her maiden name.
Since writing the book two years ago, Little has found employment. But she hasn’t stopped writing. She will soon publish a second collection of poetry tentatively titled “Journey Through the Looking Glass. My Pathway Through Perilous Times.”
Little’s current title is available online at Xlibris.com, Amazon.com and BarnesandNobles.com.
