William Clyde Spruill Jr., 87, of 9500 Newland Road, Creswell, died Saturday, July 21, 2012, in Chowan Rivers Nursing & Rehabilitation, Edenton. A funeral will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in Philippi Church of Christ by Glenn Brickhouse and Mark Wilmoth. Burial with military honors will follow in the church cemetery with Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton, handling arrangements.  Friends may visit the family at the residence.
