Alleged drug deals violate probation

Possession of cocaine and heroin landed an Edward man back in jail last week, according to a press release from the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office. Members of the patrol division arrested Jamale Antwan Stilley, 29, of 18980 N.C. Highway 33 East, after a drug unit investigation revealed Stilley was selling cocaine and heroin, said the release.

At the time of his arrest, Stilley had been on probation since late 2010, due to similar charges, said a spokesman for the drug unit.

Stilley was charged with two counts possession with intent to sell and deliver heroin, possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine and three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was held in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $15,000 bond.
