Jon Olson, 66, a resident of Grifton, NC, died Tuesday, August 28, 2012.
Jon was born on September 4, 1945, in Florida. He was a retired Pipefitter. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made in Jon’s memory to Vidant Home Health and Hospice, Service League Inpatient Hospice c/o Vidant Foundation, P.O. Box 8489, Greenville, NC 27835-8489.
Jon is survived by his wife, Shirley Olson; a daughter, Cissy Berry and husband, Bobby; one son, John “Clay” Olson; one granddaughter, Beth Whitehurst and husband, Dustin; his stepchildren, Deanna Mathis and Paul Edwards and wife, Ali, and a very special family friend, Betty Tripp.
Private Services will be held for the family.
