Floyd Barmer, 81, a resident of 945 Elm Grove Road, Colerain, died Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012, at his home. A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012, at Elm Grove Baptist Church by the Rev. Preston Jernigan. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens, Ahoskie. The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, at Walker Funeral Home and other time from the home. Walker Funeral Home, Windsor, is serving the Barmer family.
