Almeda Mercer Mozingo, 88, died Tuesday, December 18, 2012.
The funeral service will be conducted Friday at 1:30 p.m. in the Wilkerson Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Roger Banks.  Burial will follow in Pinewood Memorial Park.
Mrs. Mozingo, a native of Craven County, was a resident of Greenville and Chocowinity.  She was a homemaker and member of Gethsemane Pentecostal Holiness Church in Grimesland.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Bertia Mercer.
She is survived by her son, Jewell Clifton Mercer and wife, Betty, of Vanceboro; daughters, Donna Grizzard and husband, Larry, of Chocowinity, Delores Ealy, of Washington, and Janice Lowe and husband Terry, of Fredericksburg, VA; 13 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Wilkerson Funeral Home.
