Having read in Friday’s paper 1-18-13, of the arrest of three people with Level I trafficking in prescription pain pills, my question is what doctor or his physician’s assistant would give anyone an excessive amount of pain pills? I would think that someone needs to follow up on the medical profession and who is prescribing these drugs.
I salute our commissioners for standing up and taking action. Good for you.
The county commissioners should read The Federalist Papers and learn their history. The Second Amendment nowhere guarantees assault weapons. I’m a gunman and a hunter and nobody on the street should have an assault weapon. Thank you.
Many residents in Washington are sorely missing the section in the Sports paper regarding today’s sports events such as basketball and football games. Many people have no clue and many people don’t go online, so it would be really nice to see that returned. We really miss it. Help.
Gary (Stop the Nonsense) Brinn’s statement that citizens should have the same weapons as the military is irresponsible, delusional and just plain dumb. Hood, Stan and Gary—the Moe, Larry and Curly of Beaufort County.
