I am sounding off about the Hurricane Sandy relief bill that the Senate voted on, and did you know that our congressman Richard Burr voted no for the Hurricane Sandy relief bill? Can you imagine him voting no for North Carolina to get some relief if we have another hurricane? Can you believe it?
To the individual who counted the 33 empty buildings in downtown Washington: I wish I had enough time to ride around and count all the buildings. If you are so smart, why don’t you use some of your resources and come downtown and open a business and see can they get the merchants off of Main Street and see can they help the situation instead of criticizing everybody?
Well, I see in the paper where Alan Jordan is stepping down as sheriff next year, and Harry Meredith is going to run for sheriff. I think Harry would make a very good sheriff.
