Sadie Moore Carter, 98, a resident of 2118 Tripp Road, Blounts Creek, died Saturday, February 23, 2013, at her home. A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2013, at New Bern Eastern Missionary Baptist Association Headquarters Building, 885 N.C. Highway 306 N., Grantsboro. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, February 28, at the chapel and other times at the home.
