On Aug. 3, 2013, at approximately 11:45 a.m., deputies with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of someone with a weapon burning the personal property of another on Woolard Lane in Washington. When Deputies arrived, they detained a suspect sitting beside a fire in a yard. A knife was recovered on the ground near the subject.
Deputies extinguished the fire and determined that clothing and pictures were being burned. After conducting an investigation, Sgt. Burrow was transported to the Magistrate’s Office and held without the benefit of bond because the threat charge was a crime of domestic violence.
