Myrtle Phillips Blakey

Myrtle Phillips Blakey, age 84, a resident of Pamlico Plantation, Washington, NC and formerly of Wauwatosa, WI passed away Monday, August 5, 2013 at Vidant Beaufort Hospital. There will be a celebration of her life Saturday, August 17, 2013 at 4:00 PM at Zion Episcopal Church officiated by the Rev. Barbara Chaffee. The family will receive friends following the service in the Parish Hall. Interment will follow the visitation in the church cemetery.

The family requests for memorials to be made in Myrt’s memory to Zion Episcopal Church, 7302 Hwy 264 E., Washington, NC 27889 or Beaufort County Blind Center, 221 N. Harvey St., Washington, NC 27889.
