Mrs. Lori Briley Gaskins, age 50, a resident of 15 Farmville Ave., Washington, NC died Sunday August 18, 2013 at Vidant Medical Center of Greenville.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday August 22, 2013 at Bethel Baptist Church officiated by Pastor Heath Faircloth. Burial will follow in Bethel City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday August 21, 2013 and other times at the home of her parents, Robert & Ruby Briley, located at 3731 Robinson St., Bethel, NC.

 Lori was born in Pitt County on March 17, 1963 daughter of Robert F. and Ruby Strickland Briley. She was a 1981 graduate of North Pitt High School.  On November 6, 1999 Lori married Robert Earl Gaskins who survives. Lori was great with numbers and worked as a bookkeeper at East Coast Hospitality of Washington.

Surviving along with Lori’s husband, Robbie of the home and parents, Robert and Ruby Briley of Bethel are two sisters, Gail B. Mayo and her husband Danny of Washington and Kathy B. Hooker and her husband Joe of Aurora and a special nephew, Brandon Sutton and his wife Cindy of Statesville.
