From Marion L. Shepard
Cancer Center
There is so much information available these days about the latest recommendations for various cancer screenings.
Join the Marion L. Shepard Cancer Center for a discussion of the pros and cons of prostate, breast, and lung cancer screening presented by Dr. John Inzerillo. Dinner will be served, so registration is required. This event is free. Call 252-975-4308, ext. 132, to register.
The cancer center offers a variety of special programs and activities to help cancer patients, cancer survivors and their primary caregivers deal with the emotional and physical challenges associated with having cancer. The cancer center’s vision is to provide integrative therapies that complement traditional care at no cost to the participant.
The programs are not limited to cancer-center patients. Any cancer survivor or caregiver is welcome.
All cancer center programs are free because of the community’s support of the Shepard Cancer Foundation.
For more information or to register for any of the upcoming programs, call the cancer center at 975-4308 or visit www.marionlshepardcancercenter.org.
