Mrs. Bertha Small Murphy, 95, of 4100 N.C. Highway 32 North, Plymouth, died Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013, at Vidant Edgecombe Hospital, Tarboro. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013, at Second Zion Grove Missionary Baptist Church with pastor Hubert Judon officiating. Burial follows in the Small family cemetery. The family is receiving friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the church and other times at 301 Ridgeway Drive, Plymouth. Arrangements are by Toodle’s Funeral Home, Plymouth.
