Mr. David Warren Waters, age 86, a resident of 16330 NC 32 North, Pinetown died Wednesday afternoon September 25, 2013 at Vidant Inpatient Hospice, Greenville, NC

A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, September 28, 2013 at the Harrison Family Cemetery officiated by Travis Boyd.

Mr. Waters was born in Beaufort County on February 21, 1927, son of the late Charlie Warren Waters and Blanche Bowen. On January 11, 1947, he married the former Geraldine Elizabeth Harrison who preceded him in death on August 13, 2007. He was owner/operator of Waters Logging, Inc. Mr. Waters was a Shriner and a member of Pinetown Church of Christ.

Mr. Waters is survived by his daughter: Colleen Candace “Candy” Waters Jones of Pinetown; his son: Lloyd Waters and wife Becky of Bath; his grandchildren: Norman Waters and Forrest Walker; his great grandchildren: Megan Keech and Storm Waters and two sisters: Velma Woolard and Carol Best both of Pinetown.  In addition to his wife and parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to  Pinetown Rescue & EMS, P.O. Box 69, Pinetown, NC  27865.
