Christine Fulford Ramon, 89, of 13308 North Lake Rd., died Wednesday October 16, 2013 at Cross Creek Health Care in Swan Quarter.

Born October 15, 1924 she was the daughter of the late Benjamin Blann and Janie Murray Fulford. She was married to Edward Charles Ramon who preceded her in death.

She was a member of Saint George’s Episcopal Church, Daughters of American Revolution, Hyde County Historical and Geological Society and the Hyde Chapter #213 Order of Eastern Star. She enjoyed gardening, historical research, reading and attending the Daughters of American Revolution.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday October 18, 2013 at Amity United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Rev. James Cooke will officiate.

Surviving are a daughter, Rosalind R. and husband Dr. Don Heinert of Ripley, NY; four grandchildren Dr. Eric Michael Heinert and wife Sara of Chicago, Ill, Anthony Charles Heinert, Brett Adam Heinert and Christina Rose Heinert all of Ripley , NY; one great grandchild, Kamryn Michael Heinert.
