Margie Respess Swain, age 89, a resident of Swan Point Reef Rd., Washington, NC passed away Thursday, November 28, 2013. There will be a celebration of her life Sunday, December 1 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Hillside Funeral Service officiated by Dr. Leroy Cutler and Rev. Chad Penhorwood. Burial will follow at the Swain Family Plot in Oakdale Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, November 30 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Hillside Funeral Service & Cremations, 4500 Hwy 264 E., Washington, NC.
