Foundation’s board gets new officers

The Board of Directors of the Shepard Cancer Foundation announces the election of new officers.

These officers were elected for the 2013-2014 term. New officers, who also serve as the board’s executive committee, are Ainsley Rusevlyan, DPM, president; John Tate, vice president; Gary Wilson, treasurer; and Catherine Pfeiffer, secretary.

The Shepard Cancer Foundation plays a vital role in support of the Marion L. Shepard Cancer Center. Its mission is to financially support and promote the Marion L. Shepard Cancer Center in its efforts to improve the mind, body and spirit of cancer patients, survivors and caregivers. The community’s generous support of the Shepard Cancer Foundation funds a variety of programs including complementary therapies such as yoga and massage therapy, educational programs and patient assistance.

The Shepard Cancer Foundation Board of Directors is a diverse and dynamic group of community leaders who are empowered to oversee the organization’s mission and to be wise stewards of the generous financial support from our community.
