EDNA H. SISK

March 1, 1929 – March 31, 2014

Mrs. Edna Earl Harrison Sisk, age 85, a resident of Ridgewood Manor, died Monday, March 31, 2014.

Services will be held at a later date in Virginia.

Mrs. Sisk was born in Bear Grass, N.C. on March 1, 1929. She was the daughter of the late Earl Harrison and Mamie Elizabeth Bass Harrison.  Mrs. Sisk was a retired bookkeeper.  She was a very active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

On September 29, 1956, she married Floyd Wilbur Jackson Sisk, who preceded her in death, July 16, 1989.

Mrs. Sisk is survived by her children, Margaret Clark and husband, Allyn of Bowie, MD, Carolyn Shoop and husband, Michael of Annandale, Va., James Sisk and wife, Mercedes of Springfield, Va., Diane Herrington and husband, Mark of Sterling, Va.; two brothers, William Earl Harrison and wife, Kathy of Washington, Ralph Saunders Harrison and wife, Elaine of Greenville; 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Sisk was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Biggs Harrison and a sister, Susie Pearl Smith.
