Mrs. Hallie Dean Tetterton Padgett, age 76, a resident of 400 Nelson Farm Rd., Chocowinity, NC died Wednesday April 23, 2014 at Vidant Beaufort Hospital in Washington.

A private graveside memorial service will be held at a later date.  Family and friends are welcome to visit at the home.

Mrs. Padgett was born in the White Post community of Bath.  She was the daughter of the late Clyde Carlos Tetterton and the late Lillian Mae Keech Tetterton.  Mrs. Padgett attended Bath High School and worked as a seamstress with Sampson Shirt Factory.  She attended Chocowinity Church of God.

Survivors include a brother: Jessie Tetterton and many nieces and nephews.
