In honor of National Nursing Home Week during the week of May 12 through 16, volunteers from Community Hospice gave a much-needed facelift to the main sitting area at Pungo Rest Home in Chocowinity. They cleaned, painted the walls, hung new curtains and added paintings. They also brought in a new bookcase to make the room look more like home. Since Hospice is not a place, we are able to deliver exceptional, compassionate hospice services to include our team of doctors, nurses, aides, social workers, chaplain and volunteers anywhere the patient calls home.
