June 29, 1939 – May 30, 2014

Mr. Julius Rayvon “Ray” Hill, 74, of Macon, GA died May 30, 2014.

Mr. Hill was born June 29, 1939, in Chocowinity, NC, son of the late Clyde Hill and Dora Edwards Hill Walker.  A veteran of service in the U.S. Army, he had lived in Macon since 1982, retired as a manager from Electrolux Corp. after 35 years of service, and was a member of Mabel White Baptist Church in Macon. He was a wonderful husband, daddy, granddaddy, son and brother.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Ellen Hill, Macon;  daughters, Lisa Hill, Tampa, FL, Patty Love, Macon; sons, Gregory and Debbie Hill, Huntsville, AL, Billy Bowles, Cliff and Suzanne Bowles, Woodbury, GA;  sister, Judy and Billy Adams, Raleigh, NC;  brothers, Bruce and Barbara Hill, Raleigh, Don and Pam Hill, Chocowinity, NC;  nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were June 2, at Mabel White Baptist Church in Macon, with interment in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville, GA with military honors.
