Henry C. “Buddy” Harris
July 28, 2014

Henry C. “Buddy” Harris peacefully entered into the presence of the Lord July 28, 2014.  Born in Beaufort County, he was the son of the late Leroy and Lorena Hardison Harris.  Buddy was a proud veteran of the United States Coast Guard.  He attended The Cincinnati Bible Seminary, William and Mary College, and East Carolina College.  Buddy was the owner/operator of several business, most notably Bennie’s Grill in Wake Forest.  He was a good man, a hard-working man, dedicated to his family, and a friend to many.   His compassion toward others was great.

Buddy is survived by his daughters Dianne Browning (Jerry) of Cedar Point, Karen Daniels (George) of Washington, NC, and Pam Oliver (Mark) of Zebulon; a son, Michael Harris (Gena) of Summerville, SC; sisters Betty Jo Osborne and Edna Sukeforth; eleven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

A funeral service honoring his life will be held 2 o’clock Wednesday afternoon, July 30, 2014 in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Pine Forest Memorial Gardens.
