JIMMY RAY PINKHAM
Aug. 9, 1955 – July 28, 2014
Mr. Jimmy Ray Pinkham, age 58, a resident of 2393 Pocosin Road, Pinetown, died Monday, July 28, 2014 at his home.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, August 1, 2014 at Harvest Time Evangelistic Outreach Ministry, 624 Hwy 33 West, Chocowinity, conducted by Pastor Charles McCullough.
Mr. Pinkham was born in Beaufort County on August 9, 1955. He was the son of Minnie Mae Woolard Pinkham and the late Robert Earl Pinkham, Sr. Mr. Pinkham was a painter and building contractor. He attended Harvest Time Evangelistic Outreach Ministry. Mr. Pinkham loved animals. In his spare time, he loved to tinker on cars, woodworking, gardening, and cooking.
On July 27, 1974, he married the former Lynn Bennett, who survives.
Surviving with his wife are his mother, Minnie Mae Woolard Pinkham of Washington; his brother, Robert E. Pinkham, Jr. and wife, Diane of Washington; his sister, Dorothy Pinkham Smith and husband, Dalton of Washington; two nephews, Holland Midyette III of Greenville, David Hudson of Okinawa, Japan; and one niece, Amanda Pinkham of Washington.
The family will receive friends following the service at the church and other times at his home.
