Syble Lorraine Gurganus Blount, 76, a resident of Catawba Valley Regional Hospice House in Newton, NC, formerly of Plymouth, died Friday, Aug. 1, 2014. Funeral services will be held Sunday, Aug. 3, 2014, at 3 p.m. at the Plymouth Church of Christ by Rev. Bob Molden and Rev. Thomas Biggs. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at the Plymouth Church of Christ. Arrangements are by Walker Funeral Home, Windsor.
