ROSA BRICKHOUSE TWIDDY

Rosa Brickhouse Twiddy, 73, of Fairfield, NC, died Thursday, September 4, 2014 in Vidant Beaufort Hospital.   Mrs. Twiddy was the daughter of the late Mary Elizabeth Cahoon and Clyde Brickhouse.  She was the wife of the late William Isaac Twiddy and was a member of the Manns Harbor Church of God.

Surviving include her six daughters:  Jeannie Whitehurst and her husband Charles of Washington, NC, Rosemary Phelps and her husband David of Roper, NC, Clara Bartell and her husband Hugh of Pantego, NC, Patsy Twiddy of Manns Harbor, NC, Melissa Cahoon and her husband Timothy of Kilkenny, NC,  and Penny Hernandez and her husband Jorge of Manns Harbor, NC; her son Johnny Twiddy and his fiancé Lacey Balance of Manns Harbor, NC;  her sister Louise Gardara of Lithuania, VA; her brother Richard Brickhouse and his wife Jeanette of Burtonsville, VA; 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, September 8, 2014 in Manns Harbor Church of God with the Reverends Dale Clark and Donald Sawyer officiating.  Burial will follow at the Twiddy Family Cemetery in Deep Creek.  The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 7, 2014 from 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM.  Friends may send online condolences by visiting www.jimmysawyerfdl.com.  Jimmy D.
