THREE OF A KIND: It was a memorable night for the Gerard family at last week’s Washington High School homecoming ceremony, which took place at halftime during the Pam Pack’s home game against Kinston. All three Gerard sisters were named to the homecoming court and were escorted by three generations of Walter B. Gerards: Gerard V (left), a middle-school student a P.S. Jones, Gerard IV (center) and Gerard III (right). Gerard IV’s three daughters — Madison (left), a junior, Marisa (center), a senior, and Bailey, a freshman — are all presidents of their respective classes at Washington, while Marisa bears the title of student body president and was nominated as first runner-up at homecoming. Most impressively, this is the fourth-consecutive year Marisa has been named class president and the second for Madison. All three sisters are active in Young Life and Pam Pack sports, though Marisa took the year off from athletics to concentrate on preparing for college.
