Mrs. Ann Elizabeth Respass Harrison, age 68, a resident of 25334 Highway 32 North, Long Acre Community, Plymouth, died Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Long Acre Christian Chapel Church, Highway 32 North, Plymouth, conducted by Rupert Wallace. Burial will follow in Respass Cemetery, Long Acre Community, Plymouth.
The following will serve as pallbearers: Matt Respass, Jesse Respass, Kenneth Watson, Jason Foreman, Kyle Elliott, John Respess, James Respess, Jr. and Dennis Respass, Jr.
Mrs. Harrison was born in Beaufort County on August 26, 1946. She was the daughter of the late Harry Winfield Respass and Allie Rae Boyd Respass. Mrs. Harrison was a homemaker with “her family” being her biggest priority. She was a member of Long Acre Christian Chapel Church. Mrs. Harrison loved flowers and Indian dolls.
On June 6, 1964, she married Clayton Elwood “Buddy” Harrison, Jr.
Mrs. Harrison is survived her husband of over 50 years, Clayton Elwood “Buddy” Harrison, Jr. of the home; her children, Brian Harrison and wife, Karen of Washington, Marilyn Foreman and husband, Danny of Belhaven, Rex Lee Harrison and wife, Darlene of Long Acre, Crystal Pippin and husband, Charles of Long Acre; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two brothers, Ronnie “Skinner” Respass and wife, Lynda of Long Acre, Dennis Respass, Sr. and wife, Tiffanie of Long Acre; and sister, Donnie Hardison and husband, Phil of Pantego.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Harrison was preceded in death by an infant child.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM Saturday at the church prior to the service and other times at her home.
