MALGON WILLIAMS

Malgon Williams was born in Wilmar, North Carolina, July 23, 1932. He was the third of seven children born to John and Sally Williams. He is survived by one brother, Gene Williams.

Mac and his wife, Dorcas met while cruzin at the Radio View Grill burger hangout. They spied each other and struck up a conversation. That led to a five month courtship. Mac and Dorcas were married May 9, 1965.

After moving eleven times, and keeping the family together in an 8 x 38 trailer they made a home in Boulder City where they have been for 46 years. Mac worked for Boulder City Electric as a Straw Boss, (foreman), for 36 years. He made many close friends who became like family over the years. He retired in 2007, but the friendships have stayed strong.

Mac was a man who always sought the truth and then had the courage to speak it in a very straight forward manner. Even if you did not agree with him on a particular point, no one ever doubted his integrity. He was a faithful servant to his Lord and to the people in his care.

Many of us have our own stories about Mac. Some cause us to chuckle as he always had a good joke, while others remind us of some particular way in which he helped us. All have an underlying sense of gratitude for his faithfulness, honesty, and love.

Mac was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. He is survived by his wife, Dorcas and brother, Gene. His daughter, Kim; (Tony Montanari) and their children Dante, Sophie, & Nicolas. Their twin son Michael, (Josie). Other twin son, Ashley; (Maria) children BreyAnna, Samantha, (Louis) great granddaughter, Gwenie, and Jacob (Bailey) great granddaughter, Hillary. Adopted grand kids; TJ, Darian, Trenton, Jeanne, Arcadia, Vincent.
