Mrs. Helen Everson Wolfe, age 70, of Wilson, died Thursday, Jan. 1, 2015.

A graveside service will be conducted Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Pamlico Memorial Gardens in Washington, officiated by Dr. Doug Murray of First Baptist Church, Wilson.

Ms. Wolfe, a native of Washington, was a graduate of Washington High School and East Carolina University. She served in the Peace Corp prior to embarking on a long term career with East Carolina University.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, James L. Everson and Marshel Everson Nichols; and two brothers, James L. Everson, Jr. and John H. Everson. She is survived by her: sister, Virginia E. Evett and husband, Samuel R. Evett; sister in-law, Juanita Everson; niece, Susan E. Boswell and husband, Mike; nephew, Sam Evett, Jr. and wife, Ginny; four great-nieces; and

one great-nephew.

The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.
