Mrs. Linda Credle Cleary Lueck, age 68, a resident of 451 Everett Road, Washington, died Saturday, January 3, 2015 at her home.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 7, 2015 from the Chapel of Paul Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington conducted by Mike Caton. Burial will follow in Belhaven Community Cemetery in Belhaven.
The following will serve as pallbearers: Timothy Chandler, Nelson Wallace, Ken Jones, David Conway, Jerry Seighman, Tim Tetterton, Trent Carawan and Bobby Nixon.
Mrs. Lueck was born in Beaufort County on March 20, 1946. She was the daughter of the late William Arthur Credle and Martha Overton Credle. Mrs. Lueck was a Licensed Practical Nurse and later was a truck driver. In her spare time, Mrs. Lueck loved gardening, traveling, spending time with her family especially making crafts with her grandkids. She was a member of Rosemary Church of Christ.
Mrs. Lueck is survived by a son, Johnie Cleary III and wife, Cindy of Pinetown; a daughter, Crystal Cleary Modlin and husband, Clay of Washington; five grandchildren, Morgan Cleary, Brandon Cleary, Heather Cleary, Kaleb Modlin and Cason Modlin; a brother, Glenn Credle, Sr. of Bath; a sister, Vivian Credle Dwyer of Washington; her best friend, Dolous Harris of Pinetown and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lueck was preceded in death by a brother, Gene Credle.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM Tuesday, January 6, 2014 at Paul Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington and other times at her home.
