Mr. Andrew Lee Walther, age 57, a resident of 306 Cedar Lane, Washington, died Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at V.A. Medical Center in Durham, N.C.

Graveside services with military honors will be held 1:30 PM, Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at Quantico National Cemetery, Triangle, Va.

Mr. Walther was born in Arlington, Va. May 14, 1958.  He was the son of Max Walther and the late Frances Marlene Stanton Walther. Mr. Walther served in the U.S. Army for eight and half years. He was self-employed as a carpenter.

Mr. Walther is survived by his father, Max Walther; brother, Michael Walther; sister, Susan Brown; brother in law, Dale Brown; daughter, Andrea Weinrick; son in law, Platt Weinrick; three grandchildren, Elissa, Julian, Lorelei; nephew and wife, J.D. Brown and Kelly Faulkner; great niece, Haley Brown; and great nephew, Shawn Brown.
