Write Again . . . There’s a ‘ bigger reason ‘

Our younger daughter, Mary Bart, travels quite a lot with her job responsibilities.

Her travels have taken her throughout the southeast, Texas and Arizona, the west coast, and parts of the midwest as well. Her previous job even had her going up to Toronto. She has been/is a veritable vocational cosmopolite. Sort of.

As time allows she likes to get in a CrossFit workout, and also take in places of interest wherever she is. She has really seen a lot, and has had some nice experiences. She always meets nice people everywhere she goes.

A brief email from a recent trip stated “Been to two shelters and Pedigree Foundation today. My class is on Thursday. I’m staying in Franklin, Tennessee, at a really nice hotel. Marriott Cool Springs. So safe, quiet and relaxing. This is a really pretty area. Very green and lush. A great mall just minutes away and lots of great places to eat plus the hotel has a Starbucks and a nice restaurant in it and a bar . . .Going to change and find a CF (CrossFit) to drop in.”

Earlier that same day she sent the following:

“It’s (Tennessee) beautiful. Gives me some of the same feelings when I was in AZ. You have to believe there is something greater than us and more to here when you look at the mountains, the skies, the greenery. There is a greater power and a bigger reason for all of us. We are simply here temporarily to learn and do what we were created for before continuing to that next level of journey as it may be. Some just get there faster than others as who is to say their short time here wasn’t the most powerful it could be. Only God knows.

“Every night without failure I say the Lord’s Prayer and then three things I’m grateful for and it has to be three entirely new things I’ve never said before. I have been doing this almost a year. It gets you thinking and in return leaves me in a better place. I’m amazed at my gifts I’ve received and how grateful I am for the small and big things. Always puts life in perspective.

“I love you and Poppa more than anything. You two have always been my rock and for that I am eternally grateful.

Luv ya,

Mary Bart”

Could any parent not feel blessed to have such a daughter? And we have two such young ladies. (Young to us.)

We are blessed. And grateful.
