Dangerous heat possible in southeastern North Carolina

WILMINGTON (AP) — Dangerous heat is again possible in southeastern North Carolina.

The National Weather Service issued a heat advisory for four counties Wednesday.

Forecasters say the advisory is in effect from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. near the Wilmington area. Heat index readings could range from 105 to 107 degrees.

Counties covered by the advisory include Brunswick, Columbus, New Hanover and Pender.
