Local fire services respond to car fire

At around 7:20 p.m. on Monday night, a 911 call was received, reporting a car fire. Washington Fire Department and Bunyan Volunteer Fire Department responded to 1073 Whootentown Rd. where a Dodge Avenger was enveloped in flames. According to responders, the fire originated from a malfunction in the audio system in the trunk of the car.
