Melbour Daniel “Danny” Barbour

Melbour Daniel “Danny” Barbour, age 51, a resident of Belhaven, NC passed away on Friday, September 18, 2015 at Vidant Beaufort Hospital.   Mr. Barbour was born in Harnett County on March 8, 1964 to the late Mr. Wade Barbour and Mrs. Shirley Barbour.

Mr. Barbour is survived by his wife, Karen Ellington Barbour; his son, Steven Daniel Barbour and daughter-in-law, Allison Renee Young of Zebulon, NC;  his brothers, Kenneth Wade Barbour, Sr. and wife, Rita of Zebulon, NC and Donnie Lynn Barbour and wife, Taylor of Leland, NC; his nephews, Kenneth Wade Barbour, Jr. and his fiancée, Katherine Dixon, Joseph Barbour, Brayden Barbour, and Nick Barbour; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

A  celebration of his life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 20, 2015 at Hillside Funeral Service, 4500 U.S. Hwy. 264 East, Washington, NC with Donnie Lynn Barbour officiating.   The family will receive friends  at Hillside Funeral Service on Sunday, September 20, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
