Mr. Hughes F. Foster Jr.
May 8, 1953 – Sept. 27, 2015

Mr. Hughes Fairbanks Foster Jr., age 62, a resident of 761 Cedar Village Road, Belhaven, died Sunday, September 27, 2015 at Vidant Beaufort Hospital in Washington.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at the West Belhaven Pentecostal Holiness Church in Belhaven, conducted by Pastor Medford Hopkins.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Wednesday prior to the service at the church.

Mr. Foster was born in Beaufort County on May 8, 1953.  He was the son of the late Hughes Fairbanks Foster Sr. and Irene Cox Foster. Mr. Foster was a retired commercial fisherman.  He was a member of the West Belhaven Pentecostal Holiness Church.  In his spare time, he loved deer hunting, fishing and crabbing.

On June 29, 1976, Mr. Foster married the former Janet Bennett, who survives.

Surviving with his wife is his daughter, Tammy Elizabeth Foster of the home.
