Hunter T. Brady
Hunter T. Brady, Jr., 81, passed away at his home due to natural causes.
Mr. Brady was born in Randolph County, N.C. to the late Hunter Thomas Brady, Sr. and Jennie Voliva Brady. He was a retired Senior Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force, and also was retired from the Wayne County Department of Social Services. He was a sports fan, and particularly enjoyed watching college baseball, basketball and football.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home followed by a service celebrating Hunter’s life at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Brady is survived by his daughter, Cyndi Brady of Wilmington; sons, Stan Brady and wife, Beverly, of Goldsboro and Ken Brady of Greensboro; grandchildren, Justin, Matthew and Travis Mitchell and Blake Brady; his step-grandchildren, Eric Overby and Larry Overby, Jr.; six step-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Moore Brady; daughter, Cathy Lynn Brady and his sister, Shirley.
