Tuesday kicked off Beaufort County Community College’s “Get Beau-Fitt” campaign, which strives to encourage Beaufort County to exercise and make healthier choices. The college held a lunch event at 12 p.m. with guest speaker Derrick Boyce (pictured) from Vidant Wellness Center and then a kick-off event at 6 p.m. with prizes for fitness trackers and more information about the campaign and 1-mile IM FITT trail.
